      Please enable read/write permission for .env file.
      Also increase max_execution_time in php.ini file.

      restart your server and setup again and make a try once.

      @Brandon-2021 I have read your previous posts created from your profile. I saw that you are a programmer and that you have reported bugs that have solved problems such as downloading attachments.

      Thanks, you helped improve UVdesk.

      Actually UVdesk seems to be the best Help Desk Open Source solution that I found but it's not perfect.
      I'm also stressed to be not able to upgrade to the latest version, to see a duplicate bugs that can turn the help desk into a unusable system, to have to delete all time emails manually because there is no option to move to trash but only permanent deletion.

      I think I need have patience as this is open source free software so I have nothing to pretend... just hope things will be get fixed. Maybe I imagine also for the UVdesk team is not easy to maintain a free Open Source version.

      I like OsTicket but is not responsive, for have responsivity currently need to pay for unofficial edits and I don't like this.
      I tested other help desk (free) but often are too basical or with some security issue I found.

      Is not easy to find a perfect software, anyway I hope things will improve in UVdesk, if not I will probably leave too.
      If I will be still unable to upgrade I will move to something else because keep software update is a priority for me as can be security issue or strong improvements in new versions.

      I believe with some patience, I hope, things get better.
      Some improvement in UVdesk has been already done.

      Inter-agent notes.
      It might be that an agent communicates with the client, then transfers the ticket to a new agent and writes some internal notes (which will never be visible to clients, and there will be no notification sent either), so that the next agent will not have to check all threads of the ticket.

      To shorten it with notes, make updates in code.

      @ricsca your email provider must support a valid SSL certificate.
      Did you set the cronjob for fetch emails?

      What is the output of the cronjob run by SSH?
      Also I suggest always to use the cronjob and any SSH command related to UVdesk from the user SSH profile and not from root.

      If your cert is not valid you can try to add SSL exception: novalidate-cert (this is less good for security)

      {imap.mail.yahoo.com:993/imap/ssl/novalidate-cert}INBOX

      If the issue is not the certificate can be the cron job or the domain as explained in the linked discussion above.

      As I understand your issue, Follow the below solution:

      The latest version of "doctrine/doctrine-fixtures-bundle" is not compatible with UVdesk. As this release came in the last week.

      You can fixed this issue by changing the version in composer.json in uvdesk:

      "doctrine/doctrine-fixtures-bundle": "^3.4", **TO** "doctrine/doctrine-fixtures-bundle": "3.4.1",

      After Updating the changes in composer.json. Simply, run the composer update command in your project root directory.

      I Hope, This will resolve your issue.

      In this case, email fetching is not a problem but it may be a problem in email processing so you create a ticket from here.

      Also, share your email id which you want to create a ticket from the customer side.

      We will debug your email content.

      Yes, in the development release v-1.2 this issue is solved now, but at this moment this release is not available officially. So you will wait for the next release.

      What exactly is the app password meant to be? Is this the password I used to login? Or something else?

      The app password is not the same of your login email address. It is a create from your email for the set up of swiftmailer, mailbox and email settings for sending emails.
      For checking how to create app password in outlook you can follow the blog here.

      I also get the following when I try and run the php command:
      /var/www/uvdesk/config/packages$ sudo php bin/console c:c
      Could not open input file: bin/console

      This error showing because your project path is wrong. The project path should be only /var/www/uvdesk/ instead of this /var/www/uvdesk/config/packages:
