      @vipin Hi, today I tried to give an hand for help @Ricsca with remote support AnyDesk.

      @Ricsca is using a shared hosting, seems so I was able to set a cronjob and have the output sent by email. I discovered in the host field, email settings need add the novalidate-cert

      with this edit now UVdesk read emails of @Ricsca but ticket still not get created.

      I checked the site URL and is correct, I tried to add /public/ to the URL but same results: ticket not created.

      Can open a ticket but you don't need only access to UVdesk maybe but also to the user hosting... and this may be a problem I think. I looked remotely with Anydesk, I also followed the link topic above by replacing RefreshMailboxCommand.php and replace its code from here but no particular error messages was printed.

      But wouldn't it be better if the tickets are assigned to a user by default and then in the case of customization then let the workflows be used?
      99% of those with medium-large sites have only one who is responsible for answering the questions who is also the owner.
      You have to make a cms as simple as possible to use if you want to make it popular ...

      @ricsca You can ask on GitHub for this.
      Actually is not a supported feature... also if I don't if is good ask to the team to do additional work to let disable attachments.

      Email with attachments will have attachments lost?
      If attachments is not needed than users will not upload them 🙂

      @ricsca your email provider must support a valid SSL certificate.
      Did you set the cronjob for fetch emails?

      What is the output of the cronjob run by SSH?
      Also I suggest always to use the cronjob and any SSH command related to UVdesk from the user SSH profile and not from root.

      If your cert is not valid you can try to add SSL exception: novalidate-cert (this is less good for security)

      If the issue is not the certificate can be the cron job or the domain as explained in the linked discussion above.

      @ricsca you can also decide to put the links in the footer of the help desk if this will not decrease the security. If your operators use a strong password and also the re captcha is active should be not a problem.

      Personally on my install I prefer not link the admin operator interface access but is something you can do or add anytime in branding section by inserting your login URL.

      @ricsca I love this forum and is not the only forum i know, maybe was hard for you to understand just because you usually use a different forum software.

      phpbb, mybb are not responsive forum and today have a responsive software, on my point of view, is essential.

      At the moment I don't think the forum must be improved as is perfect as it is.
      I know also about flarum, discourse forum.. those, as this current forum, are all modern responsive forum that I think are good.

      Maybe you need just take some patience when you use something new (like also UVdesk) because is normal to have some confusion and not all clear, at the start.

      Remember please also that all is offered here is for free from a busy team that has also to work on paid product and give support to the paid customers. 😊

      As I told I think feedbacks are welcome but personally I don't agree on heard that some other not responsive forum are better than this platform.

      Update:

      @ricsca you can insert an .htaccess file to hide public in the URL, this is explained in the link that i give to you. (https://forums.uvdesk.com/topic/1925/installing-and-setup-uvdesk-for-the-first-time/2?_=1642331838483)

      Seems you have not understood how UVdesk need to be installed.

      Did you read carefully the link I give to you?
      You can choose to install UVdesk by FTP by uploading all the files and not only the public folder than you need follow the post instruction to understand how to point to the public folder without the public folder is showed in the URL.

      UVdesk can be also installed by SSH and how is explained in the link given to you.
