I only have one agent (which is me), how can I automatically assign the ticket to me?

@ricsca you can create a team group than assign this team group to your operator / admin profile.
You will need also add a workflow that assign opened tickets to the team.
This will create an email alert about the ticket.
User will see the ticket assigned when you will reply to the ticket.If you wanna assign before the reply just maybe "play" with workflow where, if you are the only operator you can assign a new ticket directly to your operator profile.
Have you tried to look in the workflow and tried to create a rule for assign tickets to yourself?

But wouldn't it be better if the tickets are assigned to a user by default and then in the case of customization then let the workflows be used?
