Fetch emails from a group

DD

I am trying UVDESK a week now and i want to ask :
I have a mailbox / user account which is member of out main email group it@example.com.
When the mailbox / user account receive an email everything works fine and a ticket opens in the UVDESK , when the group it@example.com receives an email and at the same time the mailbox / user account receive it too , because it's a member of the group, nothing happened. Is this correct or do i have to do something else ?

Hi Sanjeev,
I'll try to write it with Notes :
An email group , it@example.com has members.
Member of the above group is : italerts@example.com
When someone send an email to the group , clearly, the member italerts@example.com receive it.
Now on UVDESK, Swiftmailer and mailbox settings are configured to italerts@example.com and when i send an email to italerts@example.com UVDESK creates the ticket, but when i send an email to the group it@example.com and the italerts@example.com receives , because it is a member of the group, there isn't any ticket in UVDESK.

Can you please provide the row content of the email which you have received on italerts@example.com but not converted into ticket.
May be some header missing in our code for such scenario.

Do you mean a screenshot of the row at UVDESK tickets ?

As I checked your issue . this is because your raw content.

Update the following path function given below :

Open the MailboxService file, path of this file is given here :
-> project-name\vendor\uvdesk\mailbox-component\Services\MailboxService.php
Find the function "getEmailAddress" , you can also see this function around line 150.
Take a backup of the code first and then delete the whole function (only getEmailAddress function) and paste the given code there .

Thank you for the reply. As for the "Syntax Error" corrected according to your suggestion.
The mail issue still remains. I am getting the emails/tickets of the mailbox and of the group that the mailbox belongs to.

I mean that when i refresh mailbox the i am receiving the emails of the italerts mailbox and not the emails of the IT group that the italerts mailbox is member.

Okay , now I have done some changes for you .

Please follow the given steps:

Open the MailboxService file, path of this file is given here :
-> project-name\vendor\uvdesk\mailbox-component\Services\MailboxService.php
Open the Updated MailboxService file from here.
Take a backup of your project MailboxService file first.
Now copy the whole code from github Updated MailboxService file & past it in your project Mailbox service file .
run the SSH command: php bin/console c:c & after that run the Mailbox refresh command.
