    Solved How can admin update the passwords for customers, agents etc.

      Hi, I have just downloaded UVDesk and deployed it in my local environment as our organization doesn't have helpdesk software but we are looking to deploy it.

      I can edit the credentials for the admin user, however, when I create a customer or agent, I cannot update their password to test the login from their side.

      Thankfully this is just a test environment so various changes can be made.

      This instance of UVDesk has been deployed on a Ubuntu machine if that helps.

      If any more information is required please do not hesitate to let me know as I would like to get this resolved before the project goes live.

        Firstly, you will be setup of swiftmailer, mailbox, and email settings option. Now you able to sending emails to customer and agents password link and also replies tickets emails. After that customer and agent set the own password. and now login customer account with the same email and password.

          Thanks for your reply, when creating the swift mailer, as seen in attached image, there is a sender address and destination address, does a swift mailer account need to be setup for every user account? or how does that work?

            When creating the swift mailer, as seen in attached image, there is a sender address and destination address.

            In the sender and delivery address nothing much only sent and receive email. These option no need to fill any email. If you are not added in these option still you can send the mails on the customer end.

            Does a swift mailer account need to be setup for every user account? or how does that work?

            Swift Mailer is a used for sending e-mails. Swiftmailer setup is only one for multiple user you do not need to create different account.
