@blckhwk what version of UVdesk are you using?
Let's wait a developer reply. Maybe the team need understand how to reproduce the issue if is a bug in the latest UVdesk version. Thry may ask to open a private ticket and having some access to check the issue. If you still have the email that caused the issue don't delete it, can be useful to the team.
Centos 8 support as been ended so I suggest to evaluate the migration to a different operative system if you care about security of your server. Read more here

I think i need a developer comment stating that a certain php 7.4 function is causing my issue and the only way to solve it is to upgrade from php 7.4 to php 8 otherwise my system will stay as is.
@blckhwk let's wait a developer reply.
About Centos 8 is relevant if you have a server security vulnerability but is your choice ignore this, mine is just and advice, this never deny you to choose to keep your server vulnerable.
Is just an advice that I given to you, same thing for PHP.
Is your choice still use old software that is deprecated so you can have security issues.
PHP 7.4 is supported but will be soon be deprecated as well.
@blckhwk I'm sorry to see no reply from developers; they may be busy.
Are you able to replicate this issue by providing the steps to reproduce?
Also if I ask to UVdesk team to look into this discussion, how they test and understand where the issue is without accessing the email headers that generated this or accessing the ticket?
You can try to activate browser developer tools and see if when you load that ticket you get some browser errors.
Also how many emails you received on this ticket where you see the number 2 that is never clickable?
If you are able to reproduce the issue and having the steps to reproduce a bug can maybe be opened.
