      Hi @all,
I downloaded uvdesk from here (version 1.1.3) and extracted the zip file.
Then, I created a docker compose file and deploy the uvdesk on my local machine. All steps seems fine but got stuck on Installation process with error

Issue can be resolved by simply
enabling your .env file read/write permission refresh the browser and try again.

I gave 777 to .env file, var, config, and vendor. I checked my .env file and found below

      -rwxrwxrwx 1 uvdesk uvdesk 662 Nov 27 06:03 .env*
      drwxrwxrwx 4 uvdesk uvdesk 4096 Nov 27 05:44 config/
      drwxrwxrwx 4 uvdesk uvdesk 4096 Nov 27 05:44 var/
      drwxrwxrwx 28 uvdesk uvdesk 4096 Nov 27 05:44 vendor/

I tried the solutions provided here with no success. Anyone, please help.

@peopleinside Thanks for the quick reply.

I managed to resolve the issue by modifying the docker file from Nuttcorp. Now I'm having issues with mail configurations but will try and fix it.

@cngirwa we need wait a reply from an UVdesk staff member, this can take time.

If you have not tried yet and if you can try, you can download the zip file of UVdesk already ready to be installed by running the wizard on the web browser.

The zip file ready for wizard can be downloaded here:
          https://cdn.uvdesk.com/uvdesk/downloads/opensource/uvdesk-community-current-stable.zip

Once unzipped on your server you can follow just the web wizard procedure.
If you need help with the docker compose installation you need wait an UVdesk staff member reply 😊 if you have success with the suggested way you can update this discussion to inform us.

          Have a nice time ā˜€

Be always careful when you take code from a not official source.

@peopleinside You are right. I combined the Dockerfile from the official source code and the other. I also upgraded the PHP version to 8.2
                Thanks for the heads-upšŸ‘

About emails, I will try and follow up on the solution you suggested.
