    The harder you work the more rest you require. If you are working hard in the gym but not allowing your body adequate rest, you will find you will NOT get the fat loss results you are looking for. Ultimately you need to balance your body so if exercise is yang, then rest is yin. While you rest your body repairs itself, hormones balance, muscles recover and your body refuels. You should aim to get 8-9 hours sleep per night ensuring you are in bed by 10.30pm. This is essential for hormonal repair as it follows your body's natural circadian rhythm.
