    First and foremost we must start putting things down on paper. RELEASE IT FROM YOUR MIND!!! Have you ever done what is called a brain dump? A brain dump is when you sit down alone. No distractions. You get out a pen, and a notepad. Set a manual timer for 5 to 10 minutes. When you hit the start button you are not allowed to stop writing until the timer goes off again... this takes a lot of dedication 5 minutes begins to feel like a very long time. The key is to start writing. when you stop, write anything even if it makes no sense for ex. Let's say 2 minutes in I consciously catch myself having stopped writing, I can write, god damn it is early why am I doing this, this is nuts, this is stupid, I really want to visit Disneyland soon with my children, it would be nice to be at the beach right now etc... the key is to not stop writing!!
