    A customer service program formalises what you intend to do, and what practical steps you are going to take to accomplish that. Setting up an effective customer service program in your company takes commitment from your staff and yourself. You have to plan it, design it, implement it and monitor it. It is an ongoing process.

    The first stage of the customer service program is defining your goals. What do you want to get out of the program? Do you just want to give out advice on how to deal with your customers, or do you want to find new ways to entertain and inform your customers? Once you know your goals, you need to set out your methods to achieving those goals.

    One of the main purposes of the customer service program is to improve customer satisfaction. In this respect, you need to look closely at how your company treats its customers and how you can make changes to improve customer satisfaction.
