There is two main Belding Area Schools that serves students in the district: Washington Middle School and Washington High School. While Washington Middle School serves students in grades one through six, Washington High School serves students in grades seven through twelve. Both of these schools also serve outside students, though not in the regular classrooms. In these schools, students go to special classes that teach them about social studies, science, and the environment.

Teachers at both Belding Middle School and Washington High School have strong credentials. Many have earned their Master's degrees and teaching credentials. Many also have professional experience as teachers in various educational settings, including elementary, middle, high school or college. There are also a number of professionals who chose this type of work because they enjoy it - such as teachers, coaches, guidance counselors and support staff.
